My name is Matthieu Chapeland and I'm a Game Designer
specializing in Level Design and Creative Direction. I'm currently finishing the last year of my Master's Degree in Game Design and Management at Rubika Supinfogame.

My Professional experience
July 2022 - Today
At SLOCLAP I had the amazing opportunity to work on SIFU as a Level Designer during my 6-month post-graduate internship in 2022.

I was tasked with designing and modelling 3D arenas for the player to fight in. I also had to program various challenges with enemy units.
I worked with SaltButter Games during my 4th year's summer internship that lasted 4 months.

My main role in the team was to create 3 fully functional challenge levels, and I collaborated with another designer on a more open platforming level.
June 2021 - Oct 2021

I graduated with a Master's Degree in Game Design and Management from Rubika SupinfoGame, specializing in Level Design and Creative Direction. I grew up internationally and completed high school with an International Baccalaureate in Engineering Sciences and Programming in 2017. This year, I've started my professional experience in Paris, and I can't wait to see where my work will take me next!

Passions
I take interest in a lot of different artistic fields. You can check out my instagram and twitter accounts where I often post my digital artworks, logo designs, music, and more. Since starting Plug-Plug I've really fallen in love with product design and circuitry. I really want to keep exploring that direction and make a lot more awesome stuff by using and mixing all of my skills!
